hmmmmmmmmmmm......

what the hell is going on in here...?

(Tiger, JACK), i don't think this is a discussion for the general forum but things in this hockey forum seem to be disrupting our nice quiet place that i've called home for about a year now.

Ok, guys, time to figure this out and talk about it like civilized human beings (not wanting to be gender-biased).

Being one of the senior members, i think i ought to stand up and throw the gauntlet down.

first off. Mr.MO / Time to make $$$, i don't know what's goin on, but all I can say is that you guys are two of the most respected hockey cappers this forum has ever seen.

Time to talk it out, maybe there was a misunderstanding...?

anyone else can jump in and discuss, since this affects most of us.

so, what do you guyz have to say?

just one comment to start this:

THIS IS A LOT OF JOB FOR MR MO TO DO THE POD DAY AFTER DAY.

not sure one individual can carry the load for one year, alone.

One more comment:
have you notice more aggressiveness since the # views is being seen. Is it me or we are getting in some kind of contest in between us.
I'm not sure this is that good an idea"

its getting late so this will be a good night for me . In the way of those "views" per post maybe just smili codes in reference on the # of hits would be better.

For the rest i'll just let other people get into it.

i have a clu but just want other yo get into the dance.......

i agree

i agree

Frogy, ol chum, i agree with you:

there seems to be ALOT of aggressiveness since we've gotten

the new change in format and let me admit, i'm quite taken aback

by all the new guys posting in here. (not complaining!!!) :D

hopefully things will get back to normal.

i dont know, this place to me is so humbling b/c i KNOW that i dont know shit about hockey compared to most others, just trying to add info. i love this place now, never get my feathers ruffled(probably due to marijuana) but let's all get postive(i'm not ill, and dont starve to death) so just keep it up, in the long run, who cares who is "the big man of the forum", bottom line is winning the f'ing game--

i'm ready for SAT...........

TV & Frogy,

I am with you guys, the new format has changed this nice hockey thing we have going on in here. I feel bad that ..........won't mention his name, came over to the hockey factory of picks and starting shooting his mouth off. This is all too bad that we are losing by and far away some great people as well as a cappers. Don't know what else to say since I don't know much else as to why they are leaving but it must be for good reasons. As for Mr.Mo it is alot of work doing the POD. Maybe if we could all share the load with this we can keep things going. I love this forum and everything it brings with it, quality people and quality cappers.

All the best to $$$ & Mo.

just a thought:

what the hell, why don't we all EACH keep track of our own P.O.D plays in a P.O.D thread so that MR.MO won't have to do all the work.

I'm sure everyone would gladly embrace the honour system.

this is a P.O.D NOT to go against each other, but to figure out what ONE game that we like that we would PUMMEL the crap out of.

the thing is, we all win in this situation.

I know for sure if MR.MO didn't have the P.O.D thread in the hockey forum, I would be in a greater hole than i am now.

Well, since Frogy brought it up...

I agree that seeing total views probably serves no good purpose. Capping sports is as we all know, a solitary occupation. It's you digesting all the relevant information you can find and then deciding if you have enough good reasons to pull the trigger on a wager.

I fail to see how being aware of the number of times a post has been viewed is helpful to anyone trying to make a wagering decision.

Furthermore, I'm not real comfortable with providing people with the ability to give each other "the finger" either, but as these "features" in the new bulletin board software are likely here whether we like them or not I hope they will be used judiciously.

To conclude, I shall not be surprised to see a rise in the amount of mutual abuse, liberally sprinkled with those cute little smilies in these forums, only saddened.

At least the new "improved" software provides us with the ability to block the contributions of those from whom we would rather not hear, and much as I detest the idea of shutting out anyone, especially in these forums, it is apparent that it will become necessary to do just that.

Progress isn't always all it's cracked up to be.

My Two cents

My Two cents

Let me start by saying that I do not consider myself a capper, just a guy with a day job that likes to give money or get money from a stranger once a week or so. I have always used this forum to help in those endeavors, and I honestly thought that is what everyone is doing. I try to have fun with it and I CERTAINLY will not ever get caught up in "views" or who sent me a smilie with the finger. Sometimes my posts win and sometimes ,O.K. most times, they don't, but that doesn't give me the right or anyone else the right to criticize others. I honestly don't know where all this is coming from but I do know that it is very dangerous to this forum to take the turn many seem about to take. Every time I sit at this computer in this forum I try to get a laugh or two out of it. I f that is going to stop I will buy a gameboy and call it good. Please do not let this become an "amateurish" forum. Too many good people in it. For what its worth I am going to make sure I read Everyones posts from now on, except that fatdaddycool guy ....he sucks LOL
