Thought I would try to get some early mojo going for the halftime team tonight! :D

Two Unit Selection:

Pacers

the Pistons come into this one a hot streak but I look for them to be tired tonight. They played the Celtics at home after coming off a very long road trip and tonight it should show. The Pacers on the other hand were embarassed at home in the last outing against the hornets in a game where the refs made the Pacers a non-factor early.

Wallace had a huge game against the Celtics which will make him a top priority for the Pacers tonight. He's a guy five people have to be conscious of," Pacers coach Isiah Thomas said. "One guy isn't going to keep him off the boards The Pacers are also on the edge of the playoff picture looking as the pistons are a bit more comfortable. Look for the Pacers come out to play and grab the win tonight.

Back at Halftime.

I did not play it, the hawks were beating the nets in the first half of the last game and do have several angles supporting them in the game overall. Not a bad spot to take them in the first half although I'll pass. Best of luck in whatever you play.

My reading of the stats shows that Indy has really played a poor half.....lots of fouls, lots of turnovers, poor shooting. Killen pistons on the boards, though. Detroit has just missed their last 6 shots. The personal foul totals don't add up at stats inc. could someone help? ive got artest, oneal and miller with 3 fouls apiece. Is that correct?

I have the same on the foul totals...I liked Detroit before that observation. Indy has been playing some really sorry 2nd halves of late. Can't see either team shooting that much better and Detroit usually has a couple of dry spells during the game. Lean to under right now, also.

that is right... all 3 players have 3 fouls. I would think pacers make a run sometime, and win the game at home, but only problem is foul trouble.

The Pacers are a -2 in the second half which would usually warrant a second half play on the pacers. In this case I think that is the case. The Pacers are beating the pistons on the board and the second half should reveal the fatigue I mentioned earlier. The Pacers have some early foul trouble however the main lapse in good play was from the point guard position and Ollie came in to ease the pain from turnovers. Look for more playing time from ollie and a better shooting effort from the Pacers.

One Unit Selection:
Pacers -2

I see the total at 94.5. I like the unders in the second half a lot... If Wizz keep there huge lead, they will put in the scrubs. And Denver has trouble scoring no matter what.

Assuming my stats are correct, Indy still just has to win. If the theory was that Det would be tired, well, they missed a lot of shots toward the end of the half. Maybe we're starting to see it. Considering I've got 3 billion dollars on the Pacers already, I'll just tack on 1 more unit -3

31-78 combined shooting. Indy's insiders all have 3 fouls...I think they're going to have to get away from the halfcourt game to some extent. Need to stay away from fouls. Little more pace...and these teams have to shoot at least a little better.
over 92 for 2 units.

game 0-2.........................-3.3 units

Denvers defense is nowhere to be found as the wizards are lighting it up with little effort. Slight lean to the nuggets as they were down a bunch to the Knicks and managed a comeback and the wizards could play lack defense in protecting a large lead. However there is a chance the nuggets pack it in so I will pass.
