I bet that thing had eaten a lot of tarpon on the end of fishermen's lines!

from an acquaintance at a hunting board who lives down there and does a lot of tarpon fishing, these hammerheads are quite the nemesis. He says they call them "hitler" if they are over 15 feet long. They catch tarpon that are literally cut in half quite often. He thinks the one you have posted is 750 pounds instead of 650 and the record for 80 pound test line.
