Hank went 11-4 week 2 and 6-3 for last weekend.....(I typo'd SDiego in as a pick and it should have been a pass on his part, sorry, but I did the thread on memory as I was driving home at the time). I don't have his record for week 1.
Hank muses as to whether the dogs are finally going to bark this Sunday. And also moans about not a single college game this Saturday that is to his liking.
Today I can pass on a few comments as I was home listening.

WASH-Likes Them & Ramsey alot. NE Defense short on INT's & is all banged up.

BALT + Under-Home dogs 0-9 this season.

PHIL-McNabb to be better. Buffalo is 0-11 ATSafter last 11 games vs. Miami. Buff. won't run, Phil can.

PITT- Tenn not so great on turf & hasn't had an interception this season.

CLEVE over Cinn

MINN-won 6 in a row & is sticking with themuntil they lose. SF finds a way to lose.

ATL + points in a close game. Won't lay 6 or so vs. Atl. ATl outscored them 71-0 last year.

ARIZ-tak a chance as Ariz. plays good in St. Louis. They have covered 3 straight there & St. Louis is 7-16-1 as a fave their last 24.

JAX-HOU pass

OAK-SD won't play the game, but thinks Oakland will come out smoking. Can't take SD.

NYJ over Dallas

DEN-DET pass

INDY-No problem against a banged up N O

G BAY 7-2 ATS the last 9 @ Chicago. They will come back strong this week after raelly being out of their elelent last week in the high heat of Ariz.

That's it...........GL, THE HITMAN

Because of NFL balance, spreads very tight

Last week was one for chalk as favorites went 10-4. Because of NFL balance, there is an abundance of choices that are giving up a field goal or less. This week there are seven.

The Daily Line
New England at Washington: Washington is one of those. Patrick Ramsey is becoming a very good quarterback under Steve Spurrier. The Redskins host a New England team without 5 defensive starters. The Pats don't have a running game. The Skins have five straight covers in the series.

Kansas City at Baltimore: Baltimore gets three at home from K.C. The Ravens have five straight covers against AFC West opponents so you may not want to lay the number.

Philadelphia at Buffalo: Buffalo is three over Philadelphia. We definitely don't want to give even three here. Andy Reid is 10 of 14 as a road dog since 2000. Miami beat the Bills up last week so Buffalo's 0-11 run ATS following Fins' games could continue.

Jacksonville at Houston: Jacksonville gives three at Houston with rookie QB Byron Leftwich getting his first start. We'll watch this one.

Dallas at New York: The Jets are three over Dallas. I keep remembering that Bill Parcells was 19-4-1 as a dog when coaching the Jets. Pass.

New Orleans at Indianapolis: Indianapolis is two over the battered Saints, still missing five starters. Indy's defense brings a new ball game in the second year under Tony Dungy. It should be a happy homecoming for Peyton manning.

San Francisco at Minnesota: Minnesota is perfect in its last six hosting roles with San Francisco. Keep a watch on Daunte Culpepper's status, although Gus Frerotte filled in well versus Detroit. The Vikings have won six straight going back to last season. I'd stick with them.

Tennessee at Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh is three with a hook over Tennessee. Revenge is involved from the Titans' 34-31 playoff success at Pittsburgh's expense. Tennessee has no interceptions in 2003. The Steeler passing attack should prevail.

Early Picks: Pittsburgh minus 3?; Atlanta plus 6

giambi-yes, I've posted wks 2-3&4. Missed week 1 as Fri PM's are sometimes a tough time for me. But, I will continuewhen I can, the thread always gets 3-400 views. I don't contribute with alot of personal writeups, so it is my way of chipping in.
