had a positive day today? I am getting taken behind the woodshed with dogs today. Shittiest start to a tourney ever!! :mj13: :mj16:

Today was just topped off by getting cornholed by a BYU back door anal shot!

one of the most brutal days I've ever seen for dog bettors. Going against my local #'s, I have the favs going 15-2-1 today.....just an unreal day....only good thing I did was not making a play in the evening after going 0-8 in the morning.....many people were talking about taking all of the dogs late given their 0-8 ATS morning and I had a feeling it was going to backfire....which it did.....favs went a nice 5-2-1 ATS in the evening session. It will be very interesting to see what tomorrow brings....to say I'm a little gun shy right now of playing dogs is an uderstatement to say the least.....might not play again tomorrow and get back at it on saturday and sunday when some of these obviously overmatched bum a## teams are gone.....maybe then we'll see some doggies start to do their thing.

I actually had a pretty good day because I started off with totals. Hit a 3 teamer with:

Over Louisville
Over BC
Under Maryland (got lucky there)

I then played A&M Flat

Tonight I played:

Pitt 1st Half
Pitt for the Game

I tried to be conservative because other years I would play every game. Lot's of chalk won today which makes me wonder about tommorow. Your thoughts on tomorrow?

I liken the favs going 0-8 early to a roulette wheel turning up 8 straight red numbers. "Oh man, the underdogs are due to start covering!" Yeah, thats like saying black is due.

HANDICAP EACH GAME INDIVIDUALLY AS THEY ARE INDEPENDENT OF EACH OTHER.

People who constantly get caught up in this nonsense way of thinking shouldnt be betting. Better yet, look at them and think how all the glitter, glitz, and neon line the strip in Vegas. Yeah, and keep putting that 5 bucks in the bonus circle.

The spread is just a number. Favorites, underdogs, makes no difference. Show me winners by doing your homework, put the time in and it can be beaten. There are no shortcuts in this business.

Anyone who plays all dogs tomorrow because 'theyre due' wont last long, and I dont give a damn what the underdog ATS record ends up being.

I actually went 9-1-1 and hit a 3-teamer. Missed a couple other parlays, but successfully hedged on some of it.
Was a kick-ass day.

I feel you though.

I've been on good winning streak for about 6 weeks. Been doing good with money management too. Not great, but good.

There have been 2 days, including Tuesday night where I went really big. Tuesday night I went 0-4 and lost a lot. Its amazing that I go big and lose, go small/medium/large and been winning.

No complaints though, just lessons learned. Hopefully you'll rebound tomorrow. Good luck.
