Are you serious, clark?

Hawaii has been smokin, Fresno has been tanking culminating in a loss to Utah State.

I realize the Bows has a history of not playing well in continental US, but this year they have been fine playing Boise St and bama tough.

Can't figure out Haw -4... fully expected it to be -14 when i logged on...

with all due respect, if you truly expected that line then you might have to reevaluate your #s. fresno wouldnt be (+14) to boise or most top 25 teams, let alone hawaii.

That was hyperbole...

Yes Haw -14 was a stretch but I would expect more than 4 they way they have looked the 2 (?) times I've seen them this year plus how that Utah St game went.

That's all I meant. This hasn't been the normal Fresno this year IMO.

fresno is bad, real bad and pat hill is feeling alot of heat in the valley. take a look at the remaining schedule for them:
hawaii
at lsu
at boise st.
they are 1-4, headed for a very tough stretch! they could possibly be 1-7 after these games.
interesting stat, under pat hill as coach they are +70 on turnovers. this year they are -3 and ZERO interceptions!

im not buying that. they lack a leader right now on both sides of the ball, but this has always been a consistent program. the personnel isn't much different from last year, and they still have a top-20 nfl talent on their offense. have they slipped a bit? without question. do they have any reason to be 1-4? absolutely not. they didn't put a major scare into oregon with smoke and mirrors. it will be interesting to see how they handle the adversity. they could implode and the season could spiral. or they could easily win this game by 10-14 points.

you say they lack leadership, i completely agree as they have so few senior starters and the supposed leader is the QB. brandstatter
thats where i feel fresno is bad, real bad.
ya they can a win a game, probably 2 of those 3 i spoke of but now they are playing like a losing team.
they've always played hard but without any game breakers besides wright (R.B.) THEY ARE BAD.

since they pushed USC to near loss last year, they are 1-9...

at boise st.

the hawaii home game and at boise are really difficult. the other game is winnable, but most likely won't happen.

hill is regretting not heading for brighter pastures or even sunday games when he had a ton of opportunities in the last 3 years.

i wouldn't lay road chalk with hawaii ever though. maybe they will surprise me, but i wouldn't touch this game.
