Well I am taking a shot with the big dog here. Think the Hawks have made some additions here that might get them out of finishing 5th in the division again, don't think they'll make the playoffs, but should be more competitive this year.

Also looking for them to break their 0-7 streak against the wild.

hawks missing a couple key pieces tonight...

with C Tuomo Ruutu out with a sore knee and high-end prospect Jonathan Toews sidelined by a broken finger.


The Wild are as healthy as they were all last season, with just one player out, D Kurtis Foster, who has missed a week of practice because of a groin injury.

Khabibulin is going to have to be sharp tonight and not give up early goals...hawks are going to be better than last season but could be fragile still if they fall behind.
