HAVE TWO PLAYS ALREADY WON FROM THE FIRST GAME, AND NOW HAVE THE PANTHERS +4 AND THE UNDER 37.........
HAVE ONE UNIT TO WIN 10 UNITS

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO HEDGE THIS GOING INTO THE 2ND HALF?

Pretty hard to hedge a parlay with 2 of the 4 parts of it open.

The halftime total should be about 17?. You could take the Over there for 2 units. Sets up an 8? pt middle for you on the total, sort of.

The side...well...again, if there is no scoring, I think we'll see Phil -3 or so. You could take that for another 2 units. Gives you another small middle.

If Philly wins by 1-3 and the total lands between 27? and 36 you win the whole shebang whack (+14 units).

If you win both your 2H bets and lose the parlay, you're up 3 units.

If you win the parlay and lose one 2H bet, you're up 9.8 units.

Just what I could come up with off the top of my head but I may have overlooked something.

(edit) to correct: "If Philly wins by 1-3", not "If Carolina wins..."

Oh...and of course, you could split your two 2H bets and lose the parlay... which would result in a net loss of 1.2 units. Not a whole lot worse than just losing the parlay.

Win the parlay, lose both 2H bets = +5.6 units net, instead of the +10 you'd have by sitting out.

i agree with GM. tough to try to parlay and then hedge a 4-teamer involving both sides of just 2 games.

i know youre trying to secure something, but theres so many variables in just two games that maybe a 2-teamer on the early game would have been easier.

GM's scenarios are correct though.

the whole value in playing the parlay is to get the return. youre in a pretty good spot right now. dont want to hedge yourself out of profit either. theres a difference between protecting yourself, but also something should be said for getting the value of the parlay.
