Hedge with LSU/Bama game???

In a great situation here .... have a small $40 - 6 teamer that could hit for $1600 if LSU covers (-6 1/2) ..... should I hedge or lay off some of that and take Bama (now getting +7 1/2) .... could be really sweet if LSU wins by 7 Not sure of my next plan of action (besides getting another ice cold beer) Seems logical to take Bama for maybe half of that $1600 to lock in some profit .... any thoughts??

keep the game in, lsu should roll over bama. i have lsu big tonite and if i were in ur situation no way would i switch it. you will end up kickin urself in the ass if u switch.

theres absolutely no doubt you should hedge in this particular spot. to get a shot at free monet AND a key number? you cant ask for more. personally, i think bama covers with a shot to win outright, but at -6.5 and +7.5, thats too much value to pass up, combined with the fact that you win regardless.

In a similar situation, I would at least hedge enough to get the cost of my original bet back -- just my opinion.

Thanks for the replys guys .... feel like I must get something out of this night game so will probably take a small % on Bama +7 1/2 .... just needed some validation that made sense .... will still be pulling for the Bayou Bengals to roll tonight though (by 7 please).
