Only three invited: Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson, Bryce Love. WTF
Voters clearly not paying attention. Either that, or only players from power conferences are considered. How about the nation's leader in rushing yards (2,027) and all-purpose yards (2,698)? I present the case for Rashaad Penny, RB San Diego State, who finished with a 7.4 yds/att avg and 24 total TDs. Not to mention he racked up 206 yards on 37 touches and a TD in a WIN over Bryce Love's Stanford Cardinals, who wound up with 187 carries and 2 TDs on 14 touches in that game. Penny led his team to a 10-2 record, plus he's got this outrageous highlight:

We all know this is Mayfield's award already, but shame on the committee for not giving this kid an invite. Clearly, he deserved one.
