I was sending tons of packages over there threw them . 
I adopted 2 soldiers and it turned out that in there requests they were sharing with like 10 guys so it kept me pretty busy for awhile. I never heard back though that was kind of disapointing. It would have been nice to at least know that they recieved the stuff I was sending. I ended up sending packages to some one out of our rec. center that the madjack softball team plays for and I still conversate with him threw email from time to time, but I stopped sending stuff threw OPM

some of the packages I sent were booming LOL I had letters for the troops writen by school age children from my kids grade school enclosed and all . The kids still ask if I ever heard back . I wish just one of them would have responded to the kids at least........They felt really good about what they were doing.

I must say, that is most gracious on your part. We as soldiers GREATLY appreciate ANYTHING from the States. I could never really participate in these types of organizations due to my heavy travel. One day I`d be in Northern Iraq translating...the next day I`d be in Southern Iraq...the next day I`d be in Baghdad doing some electric work...I was always on the go..

OMG if you only knew hellah I sent everything from toiletries ,magazines candy,gum,ragu express tons of snacks ,cameras, pocket poker,blackjack hand held games , batterie operated fans LOL footballs, socks,bandanas,poker chipsand cards,kool aid and sunglasses and the list goes on LOL and 10 of everything. it is nice to know that you heard of them I guess the guys really did appreciate the stuff. as we appreciate you for doing what you had to do !!!!!!!!........................Glad you made it home safe and sound.......................I am sure everyone here would agree.
BTW - its always nice to know when your missed, and you were, the guys around here thought and spoke of you often while you were gone
