Big Kev - sooo sorry I couldnt get to your post much earlier. I have been out all day and havent really been on the computer all day.
to answer your question....the poster "axeme" from a MAC board says this...
We had a chance to get healthy last night. Gates bumped his knee about 6 minutes into the game and came out--Haut got hot and our freshman forward, Cliff Brown, who has been sitting all year behind Gates but has played well when he's had a few minutes, came in and we went on a tear. So Gates stayed out. He would have played, but the rest were rolling so he took the rest of the night off. Some guys would have wanted back in so they could get their numbers, but coach and AG both know how important it is right now to get the rest of the team rolling again when Antonio isn't in the game. Totally unselfish player.
Brown led all scorers with 19--he is 22/28 from the field for the season. Coach may have to unleash him more some now that it's crunch time.
We just finished a 12 game stretch in the last month in which no one inthe country played mnore games than we did in the same time frame. We've been a bit tired. Now, we only have 3 MAC games left and should be rejuventated for those and the BracketBuster Saturday. Chance to get the fresh legs back while everyone else beats up on each other a bit.
