I haven't been able to cap NBA games as I would like yet this season due to various reasons and I've sure missed the brotherhood here at MJ's. Searching back to my last post and seeing the gracious comments left by so many "FRIENDS" forced me to find some time today to cap one for tonight.
The most important thing I found in my last post here at MJ's wasn't the record or winning % but my thoughts on comradership between fellow MJ cappers (Gladiators if you will).
Each time a play is made you're thrown into the gambling colosseum arena where....like it or not....the book pits us against one and other! The bookies are like Romans and the players are a bunch of Gladiators. The Roman's odds (with equal $ on each side) of a winning night are MUCH greater than the lowly Gladiator who can get "KILLED"!
That's where the strength in numbers here at MJ's forum comes into play and increases your chance of survival in the Gladiator arena of wagering.
In the movie Gladiator, Maximus saluted his friends by saying: "Strength and Honor"! I wish to salute all my friends here likewise...."Strength and Honor" gentlemen!

As for tonight.......
Personally, I like tonight's SA/6'er total of 179 (at Oly) to go over. Here's why:
-SA is averaging 90.1 ppg....
87 LAL
98 GS
91 Tor
103 Mem
93 GS
76 Port <---Port makes everybody's offense ugly
91 Min
83 NJ
-Philly is averaging 96.6 ppg....
88 Orl
95 Mil
98 NY
101 LAC
108 Clev
105 Mil
81 Bost
-Both had horrible shooting in their outings last night (which is fresh on everyone's mind).
*SA shot 37% at NJ last night
*Philly shot 38% at Bost last night
-However, at least the 6'ers will be home tonight!
-On the season......
*SA has shot 42% from the field
*Philly has shot 41% from the field

If we can get a tad closer to seasonal averages out of these two teams tonight.....we should go over the 179 total.
BUT as gsp always used to say......"I hate it when Vegas starts helping my play out!" GL MadJackers
