My wife's getting a massage so I thought I would stop in and say hi.

Got into Whistler last night at 130AM PST (430 EST). I was exhausted. Hell of a drive up from Vancouver in the rain. Wife wanted to be in Whistler when we woke up this AM. Gotta make Momma happy!

It's about 58 degrees and overcast but the Village is very entertaining. Lots of shops and diners. Going to a nice steakhouse called Ric's tonight. Doubt I'll see the game. No biggie.

Off to Victoria, B.C. tomorrow!

You guys take care.

Nole,

Whistler is one of my favorite places to go, have been there a half dozen times or so now. If you want a great bar, check out the new bar at the Barefoot Bistro - also a great place to eat and they have a great bar menu. Also enjoyed Araxi, the Mongolian Grill and Rics is fantastic.

I'm jealous, I really miss going up there in the winter. Are they still skiing up on the glacier? It amazed me we could wake up in the 50 degree weather and fog and they were skiing on the top. Too cool

Hi guys. Thanks for all the well-wishes.

Flew West Coast Air(seaplane) from Vancouver to Victoria late yesterday. 35 min flight as apposed to 3 hours via ferry. No thanks! Great flight and landed right at the Fairmont Empress. Had dinner and shopped a bit and called it a night.

Today, man, the best! We went on a whale-watching excursion for 3 hours. We had the fortune of seeing a humpback whale and many killer whales. Our Captain said he had never seen killer whales and a humpback within 200 meters so we were very fortunate. That humpback was a big sucker! Saw a few baby killer whales right next to their Mom. Just an incredible trip! Froze our asses off though.

We are now here in Vancouver at the Fairmont Waterfront. This place is great! Upgraded to the Gold Level(I highly recommend BTW). "Free" booze, breakfast and Internet. I know I'm paying for it with the rate but you only live once.

Dinner reservations at Morton's tonight at 8PM. Wife's getting ready. I'm having a nasty CC and water. (No Crown!!!!!)

The Canadien folks have treated us fantastic and they have the most beautiful countryside and sites I've ever seen. Their mountains make "The Smokies" look like pimples!

Here for 3 nights. I will chime in again I'm sure.

Thanks again for the nice wishes.
