Help....changes at work!!!

My company that I work for was just acquired by a large bank, and they are now moving all of our files to their network/server. This is not good for me, since I always got on this site and placed my bets from work on our old company server which no one really cared. But I know that it will not be a good thing to get on those sites from the new server. Does anyone know if this is true.....I have heard that if I download America Online to my computer at work, the server will not recognize what sites I am going to?

If that is not true, does anyone know of anyway that i can block them from seeing where I am going on the net?

No it want , if you have to wager while at work . cell phone is your best bet.

Whoever told you they cant track your AOL sites is flat wrong. If they have the software or packet sniffers in place, they could track you keystroke for keystroke.

Agree that cell phone is best or else why not do it at home? Not worth losing your job over.

Tease - I recently went thru the same thing, I used to be able to go on these sites at work. Once the company was sold I no longer had that option. I can lived with that because gambling is not going to cause me to lose my job. Good Luck

yup totally agree......not worth losing the job over, just wanted to know if there was any options. i guess i am outta luck. lol. they are actually letting us keep our old PC's which are hooked up to the old server, so I may have to keep both computers on in the office

Get a laptop with WiFi and you can use it almost anywhere.
