Help.???OU..

I know this sounds stupid but how do I hedge this play.
I have LSU +4000 straight up. I guess I have to do the moneyline right?Taking OU minus pts doesn't help me.If OU wins but doesn't cover I lose both.Right? I know this sounds dumb but I'm not to experinced in hedging plays.

Quick advice please.It has to be a moneyline play on OU.

you have to play Oklahoma Moneyline...

if you put 100 on +4000....and then throw 225 to win 100 on Oklahoma...so you cant lose money

i say let it ride and take lsu +7 for a small amount too.

If you're going by your original figure of $25 at +4000, then you would need to play $710 on OU at -225 moneyline.

Then you'd clear about $290 either way.

If LSU wins, you get $1000 minus $710 = 290.00

If OU wins, you get 315.60 - $25 = 290.60

I think my math is right.

Thanks guys.I understand now.Damn.I'm really embarassed.I thought all week I'm just going to split this down the middle 50-50.
Wondo your numbers are right on the play.I have to put 550 down to win 250 or 660 down to win 300.Thats as high as my moneyline will go.
I feel like almost just letting it all ride on LSU.
