I'm hoping someone can help me out with this. I have a document that I need to email. I dont have POP email....just web-based....yahoo to be exact. I uploaded the document once to my yahoo account and sent it. But the person I was sending it to said it didnt work. Now I know I can just cut and paste......but doing that to yahoo just screws the format of the document up. The program the document is on is Microsoft Works. Am I just up the creek or not?

The problem may not be the e-mail type. It may be the recipient is just simply unable to or does not have his computer configured properly to associate the file type to the correct program. BTW, what is the file type you are sending from Microsoft Works?

Thank you both for your help. The file type is wps. I do think that their computer is just not configured properly to open it.....so I am just going to have to probably fax it or something.

It looks to me that they can't open the file because they don't have the application. Try saving in MS Word or whatever OFFICE type document corresponds (if MS-Works allows it in the SAVE AS menu) and then send it as an attachment. I'm supposing the recipient has OFFICE based applications.

Thats what I'm thinking....that either they dont have the applicaton.....or they just dont know how to open a file. Thanks all for your help.
