Ok, here's the deal. Have a Samsung TV about 2 years old. Model number LN32A330J1d whatever the hell that means. It's our bedroom set. Fell asleep last night with it on. woke up around 4am and shut it off with the remote. Now, it wont turn back on. Still shows power but nothing..WTF happened?

I assume you tried the "on button" on the TV to make sure the remote battery isn't dead

i noticed on my t.v.`s.....that i occasionally get a blank green screen......happens very infrequently...but it does happen....

seems that if you`re watching a hi-def channel or program and switch to a standard def channel(or vice-versa)that straightens the green screen issue right out....

or maybe this is common knowledge?....

just something i noticed....

mully....do you have a cable box?....somtimes when you code a t.v. in to a cable box remote, you can accidentally hit the "t.v." button and you can`t control the box....that`s why the t.v. is on without any content...the cable box is turned off..

let us know what it was...

? Does it have a red power light blinking on and off? If so it is the capacitors more than likely. They have problems with power supplies as well. Usually the TV will just shut off and you will hear a clicking noise as well. Sometimes the TV will come back on if the power cord is disconnected etc.

My 40 inch LCD did the same thing. Watching TV in bed and it went blank. Power light blink for about 10 minutes and then nothing. It was the capacitors. Under 20 dollar fix. You can buy the capacitors at Radio Shack. I would advise getting someone who is skilled in soldering.

If the TV is not under warranty then the repair can run over 200. Go figure.

Search the web and you will see the problems many have had. There are step by step procedures.

Replacing 4 capacitors on mine fixed the problem. Took me less than 1 hour.
