Not a very appealing game tonight for sure but here is my quick take. Liking Herd at -3 as well as under 1H and game. Like Marshall more as side than totals and will be ready to adjust with live betting as needed.
Barnett is emergency option only at QB-- I know nothing about his replacement. But I have made decent $$ betting against Charlie Strong and we all know about their 5 game skid to end season. Maybe I would believe that another coach could use this game to rally the troops and finish with pride, but clearly he didn't do much rallying for the last 5. And it can't be very exciting for USF to see RayJay as their bowl backdrop/.
Weather should not be major factor--another line of storms will move through prob at end of 1Q but it will be fast. However, could cause game delay.
Plus, just feel that many offenses take a little while to get back in synch for bowl games, and that would only be compounded by weather delay or heavy rain moving through.
I even threw down one unit on Marshall -12' alt line. Hope it all works as planned.
