It?s clear at this point the vaccine works. We also know the short term side effects are minimal. The unknown at this point is the potential long term side effects, which I?ve read are rare in vaccines historically. Full fda approval for Pfizer vaccine is slated for January. Moderna should not be far behind (and no later than May, 2022). I expect a bump in vaccinations once fda gives full approval.
What is your guess as to what percentage of those who have not gotten it yet are just waiting for fda approval Cie?
I?ve heard people say they?re waiting, but no clue how much of a bump to expect. I do think vax rates will climb again with cases rising, so hopefully the need for this bump will be moot by January.
Anecdotally speaking, an anti vax friend of ours has been in icu since last Sunday. She is improving but has been sedated on vent since last Monday. A few of my friends have vaxxed as a direct result. This includes one of the major anti vaxxers I know. Seems she will live, but the prospect of ventilator and sedation and your fam not allowed to see you for a week is enough to sway opinions.

im vaccinated and still wear a mask when in close quaters with others because it's proven if anyone sneezes or coughs in your direction you aint safe 6 feet away have to be 16 feet away...
