If you like the 'Canes, then bet it. If you like Detroit, as I do (and most others), then here's an angle you may want to consider. You can either lay -750 (which is the best I've found so far) or:

(all lines from SIA)

$112 on DET 4-0 +3.00
$128 on DET 4-1 +2.50
$100 on DET 4-2 +3.50

The above wager amounts will net you approx $110 or 32% UNLESS Det wins in 7 or Carolina wins the Cup. I think there's a better than good chance that those two events will not occur.

The wager amounts above are illustrative only, but the math is linear. That is, if your level of risk tolerance and bankroll is larger, play more but the ratios of the different wagers should remain the same. The same holds if you want to invest less.

So, here's one creative way of doing it. Any others?

I've heard that all of Bowman apperance in the finals of stanley cup went in 4 games, win or loose.

i took a bite on detroit 4-0.
