Sometimes these ex-coaches as announcers do get to me too.
Holtz just said, "as a corner you can't let the receiver get inside you b/c he'll get position"
Well, lets see, you definitely can't let the receiver get outside you b/c theres no help outside and you have to contain on the sweep. And I KNOW you don't want to play head-up and give the guy both inside and out.
They just react to play rather than give fundamental advice. I think on that play the guy had safety help inside and it was just a perfect pass. Luckily dropped.

Part of the reason I don't mind Holtz is b/c its kind of funny to hear him, in the sense that he's almost a caricature of his former self.
I can't stand May, but I hate others a lot worse. As we've all said before, Rece is great.

Glad they got the FG, and I like O'Leary.
But, you just have to wonder....he's worried about his struggling kicker, so on 3rd and 3, he runs it to the short side of the field to give the kicker a really tough angle.
I thought when they ran it right, they were setting up for 4-down territory. Glad the kicker came through, but don't understand putting him in that situation.

UCF looks good, but when they get in the red zone...they have ISSUES.

I really wanted that FG for my 2nd half over. And I really don't understand the logic. They ran a play that had about a 10% chance of getting a first down. So why not just run it to middle of the field and see how close you get, then make a decision.
I really want the TD here, to get my 2nd half and have a great night.
