Who, in their right mind, thought they would be a good fit in the new league? The worst thing anyone can say about a program is that they are a joke. Out of respect for the kids I wouldn't say that, but ..........
I understand that they have faced 3 top tier programs so far, and that no one else in the nation can say that, but if that's the ONLY thing you can hang your hat on, it ain't much.
Friends kid played there years ago and was on the team that lost 80-7 ????? Rick Rod on the WV sideline !!
Squad was challenged back then for sure, but that was like 15 years ago, and even though the program had the great achievement of besting Kansas State in the Philly Cheesesteak Bowl or some such, What have they done?? New HC out of the Urban Meyer camp is in an almost impossible situation.
I don't care what anyone says, you cannot get anything positive outta losing your last 3 game 200-20???
This group needs WAY MORE in every facet of the game, coaching staff, and especially athletic administration (who seem to be more involved in state politics than the success of the sports programs, also see Rutgers Basketball). Hell, they need a priest.
