Wanted to congratulate you on your recent interest in market. Saw your comments on DXO and wanted to make note a few things pertinant but didn't want to put it in that thread as feared it would end up in political discussion and not meant to be--however politics does pay large part.

If you are trading for short term profits I like you and rest of team DXO play because of modest cost of share--if you want play on long term I like UGA (U.S. gas fund) however more costly per share. I liked this intially when gas was around $1.60 but really like it now that O has selected Energy Team as I think it is inevitable we will not only get our normal bounce off lows in oil and gas but we will also benefit from artificial increases I believe will come.

My reasons-- convictions/agenda's of O's Energy Team

Energy Secretary> Chu
"?Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe,?
Cost in Europe at time of his quote to WJS was bout $8 a gal--he also stated price of electricity was?anomalously low?

Department of Interior>Ken Salazar
Has been adamant about not giving leases in area's in U.S. where shale holds probably more oil reserves than Saudi.

Science Advisor-Holdren
Huge global warming advocate--(was equally strong advocate of global cooling back in 1970's)

Not trying to be political--but regardless of which party is in-each have diff agenda's that will weigh on certain sectors pro and con.

Yeah I think I generally agree with you. Gas will be a good long term investment.
