When did we lose are ways with the money spent for elections. Has it really gotten to who raise the most money. Not the best person wins. Not picking on left or right here. But both are guilty. You talk about a waist. Lets say a company gives 500 grand by certain ways. Just think of the 2/3 good paying jobs for 2/3 years that could pay for. We need real reform. No one can start to run till January 2nd the year of the election. All parties are capped on what can be spent. All of them indepentent what ever. No private dude comes in and throws a billion around to try and buy in. We only let are Prez serve 8 years. Thats what congress should be held to. Including the Senate. Change it to two, four year terms.
Bush has rasied almost two hundred million and its only January 19th. Not picking on him. Because all the Dems togeather are only about 10 million behind. I just cant believe our founders want this country to be ran as a cash as you go bases. We all left, right and inbetween should be ticked about this and the waist. Some comes from the networks that just lick there tongues on a election year. I bet those rates go up fast. Well you end all that when you say. Heres all you can spend. And dont matter if its soft hard or luke warm money. Any private outfit throws up some adds in favor of a person. It counts against that person. No BS allowed period. Maybe they would even get back to meaning full adds.

Doc a very strange answer. We throw the prez out in 8 years or less. These lower offices need no longer then that. Maybe we could even control the corruption a little better.
