MLB: Line : Units : Comments

Yankees (+170) (5)
Hard to resist the Yanks at this price. The Yanks are 25-10 vs. right handers averaging 6.1 rpg. Lilly has been a solid starter with a 1.93 road era and 0.571 whip. The bullpen has a 3.07 era and is always dependable. Boston has stuggled all around at home, Pedro has a 6.14 era and a 1.409 whip, the bullpen has a 5.19 era. The sox avg. only 4.5 rpg vs. lefties. Edge to YANKEES.

Dodgers (-125) (5)
This is a decent price for Ishii who is 6-1 with a 2.70 era. The Dodgers are 8-1 vs. lefties. The Brew crew is only 2-6 vs. lefties avg. 2.9 rpg. Edge to DODGERS...

Padres (+120) (4)
Tomko posts a 1.50 era and is 2-0 on the road. The Padres have the better pen, if they can get some early runs - they should hang on. Under may be a play here. Edge to PADRES...

Reds (-165) (4)
Reds are a hot team right now hitting 2 grand slams in 2 days and avg. 5.3 rpg at home. Rijo is 4-1 with a 4.22 era. Tavarez has been inconsistent at best for the Marlins with a 10.96 era which balloons to a 20.57 era on the road. Edge to REDS...

Cards (-150) (3)
The Cards have won 4 straight and are 9-1 in their last 10, tonight they toss out their best pitcher against an Astros team that only scores 3.8 rpg on the road. Edge to CARDINALS....

Bal/Oak over 9 (3)
The starters come into this game with less then impressive numbers. Runs will come easy for both sides. Edge to OVER....
