I need to confirm if these #' are game 1 match ups or series? If it is a series total bases- is Ortiz going to play 1st @ Col w/no DH? This would seem to be a mistake if its a series line. Please correct me if Ortiz will be starting @ first @ COL. Obviously he will get at least 1 at bat per game @ Col. I just don't see them pulling Youkilis and putting Buckner out there? :shrug:

Gordon_Edes Ronsab, that's an inherently unfair situation for an AL team that builds itself one way, then is told when everything is on the line that it can't use one of its primary components. Tito said yesterday Ortiz's knee could factor in the decision. Lowell is another candidate to sit, with Youk going to third. If david's knee is OK, I think he plays all three, and Youks and Lowell take turns sitting.

I didn't follow Sox to know how they handled National Lg. roadies this year reg. season? Obviously, the playoffs are a different animal, but when was the last time Papi was in the field? I'd hate to see a Buckner.
