And it just so magically happens that the under covers by 1 point after having 42 pts in the first half.
Look at what happened the last few seconds of Air Force/UNLV......Has to go down as the most bogus crooked play Ive ever witnessed.
There was a game a couple of years ago that I came out on the right side. The game was not going to be won, but a last second score would make it look a little better. Instead of throwing the ball into the endzone for a TD try, the kicker comes out and makes a 40 yrd FG to cover. I was dumbfounded but happy at the outcome.
I'd have to agree. What in the hell was up with going for 2 when you're up by 19 points and there's no time on the clock? Even the announcers were dumbfounded....
Have absolutely no idea about game situation but figured I'd comment just in case its relevant. A FG there would technically cut the lead to 3 possessions. That said, again, don't know anything about what happened...just figured I'd throw a couple pennies out :shrug:
