Watch out for Castroneves or De Ferran to be again very competitive this weekend. They are on a roll on Road tracks. PLEASE, SPORTSBOOKS, don't match up them together!

Penske team has completely dominated that track last 2 years and are doing the front row again this year. I think in the last 7 races in Monterey, 5 have been won by the front row on the starting grid...

WSEX did have qualifying matchups - I know because I bet them. You have to check under the auto qualifying thread. For what it's worth though they closed them on Friday before 2nd practice - (I think they're getting smart)

Apparently CART and F1 qualifying matchups are closed prior to 2nd practice and NASCAR qualifying is closed prior to the first practice.

First time in the history in Monterey that a driver who starts further than 6th wins here! Papis with his 24th position on the starting grid wrote a record with his victory
