How long before our taxes are increased to fiscally aid the indigent?
How much will Gov't be expanded?
Are you excited that it is inevitable that no matter how much you want to succeed individually, you will be rewarded by your Gov't by taking more of your earnings and spreading it among the lazy and uninspired?
Exciting to be headed back to socialism?
Go ahead and start spinning about a corrupt war etc....answer the damn questions above, first.
Thank You.
I'll give it a shot. If you mean, when will the tax cuts previously enacted be repealed (another, more appropriate way to explain the situation) to adequately fund programs that affect ALL Americans and make this country better than others, I would guess attempts will be made over the next couple of years - which will surely be veto'd by Bush in his desire to work together with the Democrats. I'm personally proud that my country looks out for all of its citizens, and not just the kings and queens.
Honestly, I seriously doubt that over the next two years that the overall government will expand at all, in fact I would expect it to shrink with what I am reading, especially considering the Iraq occupation (which is appropriate to talk about in this context).
I am excited that our progressive tax system should work well, benefitting all Americans. If I could see any evidence of the current progressive tax system putting undue pressure on those making more money and causing them to not try to make more money and continue to work hard, I might give that some credence. However, in both our former and current tax rates, those in the upper brackets are earning a larger percentage of income than ever before, tax payments included. So, I guess the rich aren't giving up, despite the pity party put forth by conservatives. They are actually excelling, which should be exciting to everyone.
Proud to live in a thriving democracy, although a little more embarrassed about how my administration has acted worldwide than it had previously. I see no socialism, just freedom and democracy, in a great country.
Now that I've given it a shot, can we talk about the corrupt war? Or perhaps about what this administration has done to fiscally aid the super rich and corporations, and really not too much to show for that except record profits? Much to discuss on both sides, with value points on both.
