UConn +2'....... 10 units *Have never been a big fan of Tubby and always looking to fade him every chance I get.... Tiger beat Owls Sat on buzzer-beater 3 pter so might be a little hang-over.... Lot being made out of Memphis win streak (3 straight AAC Conference wins) but hasn't won 4 straight since 2012-13 season... I expect UConn to employ same type of pressure that Temple did, slowing down Guards for Tigers and Double-Team Martin (committed season high 8 TOs against Owls)(Martin is dangerous, averaging 28.3 ppg, 4.7 rebounds, 5.7 assist... Plays over 38 min per game) Memphis is 6-1 when he scores over 20 points..... Huskies are also on mini-win streak themselves (3 games)... UConn playing much better and seem to be over the psychological effects of losing McDonald's All American Alterique Gilbert to a season ending shoulder injury.... UConn Jalen Adam's is one of the top scorers in the AAC (2nd) (18.9 ppg, 4.3 assists, 5.1 reb)...
I think this game boils down to schedule... I'm simply not impressed with Tigers body of opponents this season and on the flip side, think Huskies have played a much tougher schedule which sets them up nicely for the AAC.... I think Huskies should control the boards and are 9-1 when they outrebound opponents and 8-0 when they hold opponents to Under 70 points.... My main concern is that is UConn is AAC's worst field-goal %(40.9) and worst assist-to-turnover ratio...Huskies are best free throw % (75.6) which bodes well if they have a lead late....

Well Tues turned into a mini-disaster.....I don't do write ups during College Hoops (simply too many games) but yesterday proved what a colossal waste of my time.... And, I was so far off base on the UConn game it nearly made me ill.... I apologize to anyone who may have played that game... The only bright spot is that the gamewas out of reach fairly early, so no anxiety involved, and could move on without guessing how the bankroll would be affected. I rarely watch games anymore for that reason :banghead:
*lastly, the last score I saw was Kentucky with a fairly substantial lead so I figured that the massacre would save a little of my BR, only to notice today that Wildcats fell apart also...
