continuing my sputtering ways with a spiffy 1-4 in Weds MAC play.

Playing one extra large tonight

GB -6 (10)

Statement game for GB here in front of of an ESPN audience. But even more important than that is that its BUD Light Night with a 24 oz cup of suds going for just $2.00. I think that they are the better side and can win this by 10+ as Valpo's Carter is once again doubtful for Valpo.

Carter in walking boot, local papers reporting he's not making the trip.

Green Bay shoots 45% from the FT line and 15% from beyond the arc and wins somehow. You just can't make this shit up. I'm really on full tilt now and if you haven't been fading me you are missing one hell of a party.

Vikings Game last nite

Vikings Game last nite

FCP:

I was at the Vikings game last night with 3 buddies. Line opened around 6.5 went to 7.5 for a long time. Detroit winning outright for 90% of the game. CSU makes a last few minutes run to go up by 8 with 1 min. it goes back and forth, Detroit cutting it to 6, but fouling and back to 8.

With about 17 seconds left, Detroit drives for a layup to cut it to 6 and at the same time a foul is called away from the ball on the Vikes. This is where my buddies and I started yelling (we had 2nd row seats). The refs awarded Detroit two FT's after the layup was made. The scorekeeper initially didn't put the layup points on the board. But one of the ref's walked over and adamantly told him to count the bucket. The Detroit player made both FT's and secured the cover for Detroit. It was the shadiest ending by buddies and I had ever seen. We'd never seen FT's awarded to different player on the same team while a shot was being made and awarded the FT's. The layup should have not been counted and the other player gone to the line or something. The Horizon is now manipulated in my eyes. I had Detroit so all good, but very shady.

Quite interesting and from what I've seen in Mid Western officiating not surprising at all. I've seen it called that way but it's about as rare as a triple play in baseball. Most of the better refs who did the Horizon/MAC games have been elevated to the BIG 10 and we are left with mostly the bottom feeders.

Appreciate you sharing that :0008
