In my younger years I did a diff version of this.
I had 59 ford that had bendable prongs on windshiend washer. Would stop one side up to get more power on remaining and bend out pointing to curb. Had range of about 15 feet.

Hardest part was keeping straight face while watching them jump then look around. :mj07:
