Not much of a card tonight.......
The Hornet/6'er game couldn't 'cap out any closer....and....with an injured Ray Allen the linesmen can't even get a line up on the Buck/Suns.
-Satistically both NO and Philly are mirror images:
*96.1 ppg each
*43% FG% each
*77% FT shooting each
*NO a tad better on 3 balls 38% to 31%
*44 Rebounds/game each
*with Philly a slight lead in steals and NO a slight lead in blocked shots
VERY EVENLY MATCHED TEAMS......who played last Tues. to a Hornet 99-98 victory!
-NO is only 2-3 on the road beating NY and Clev for the 2 w's.
-Philly is undefeated at home.
-Both teams are playing their 3'rd in 4 days......with the 6'ers going B-to-B after a real early game in Tornoto yesterday. That game was hardly what I'd consider a "real energy expender" as far as the 6'ers were concerned.
_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
It all boils down to the fact I don't like laying the -3' in a game where the teams are this close nor do I like taking +3' on a team that is 2-3 on the road (with NY & Clev being the only road victims).
A close game tonight might result in late game fouling (like in Tor yesterday) and an over the 185. Last Tuesday it was 99-98 AND both teams are averaging a nice 96.1 ppg.
I don't believe tired shooting legs come into play in this game......give me the Over 185. GL
YTD...14-4
LN.....1-0
Sonics...+7'...W
