Hi
I went to the game tonight and I think the reason the leafs became unraveled was they were getting calls against them and the Sens were doing the same things and getting away with it.

There was one penelty to the leafs Macabe that the sens player was falling down and he was in front of him and got called for 2 minutes.
I left after the second period and we had lower bowl seats because I could not stand how the game was being called. I did not want to see a game of the REFS vs. Toronto and thats what it felt like being there.

The players kept looking to the refs after every hit to make sure they were not getting penaltys and I also noticed that everytime the linseman with the big nose was handelling a faceoff he through out the leaf player at least 70% of te time.

I think the leafs had no choice after a while but to fight and get agressive as they were frustated with the refs and knew they had no chance.

I am from Toronto and we have season tickets to the leafs since I have been born so I am a big Leaf fan and I take a lot of heat living in Ottawa and being a fan so mabey I am just venting but I hated that I left the game tonight but I just could not stomach it.

HORNS- What do you think of the DANDY man and why does he still have a job. I turn the radio off between 3-6 as I cant stand him and the way he bashes Toronto. If he is a friend of yours sorry just thought I would ask and BTW thanks for all your picks I follow them all the time

I like Detroit because their players are old like me:lol:. But the way they have been playing defense lately will kill them during the playoffs. I personally would like to see a team that has never won it before like the Vancouver Canucks. What I am impress with is how much compassion and knowledge people from Canada have for the game of hockey ;)

Yo lets not forget the horrid officiating in the Nashville @ St.Louis game. In the replay Nashville clearly scored but the puck was quickly cleared by a St.Louis player after it inched past the goal line. Nash would have been up 2-1. Sorry for the lack of details in this post, I dont remember goal scorer (woulda been) or puck clearer.

Peace

u gotta love these forums...i had fun reading horns vs the leaf fanboys:p :)

the best team in the league IMO is the canucks, only reason there not my pick to win it all is cuz of goaltending(though red wings won in 96/97 with not great goalies in vernon/ossgod)...

stars are good but just like the nucks don't have a proven playoff OR hell even a proven regular season(sorry 3/4 of a year doesn't count) goalie...red wings with JOJO:lol: ...blues don't even have a good backup on there team...out of all the teams in the West only 1 team has a proven goalie...AVS...if avs get knocked out it will be a crapshoot to the road to lord stanley's mug

the dread wings/stars aren't has strong has people believe without Hasek & Befour... come playoff time a goalie by himself can take u to the promise land;)

heres to a nucks/sens final:toast:

Avs goalie?!?! Who?? Patrick Roy? Dont get me wrong, he's an outstanding goalie..at times, but he should be known as the battlefield wanderer. I dont know what it is but it's like he's a bunny and there's a carrot at centre ice. If Roy was on this board I'd say to him -- Stay the %&^ in your crease, unless someone is on a break-away.

Peace

the 2nd worst game today was the quacks/queens game...man i had $500 on the line & the queens kept getting powerplay after powerplay, the quacks would skate by them & the queens were falling down like they had been shot

good news was queens only got 1 shot on there first 5 pp's:)

playoffs and sens

playoffs and sens

the sens demise has been there top players other than alfie hate playoff hockey ...when corson gets in bonks face or havlat or hossa they are magicians . they disappear..the same is true with redden.he is a super regular season player. your best players have to be your best players. in ottawas case they just dont like being hit.if their best players play tuff the will win the east. getting other tuff guys is not the answer because they are offset by the other team...players like sundin roberts and mogilny are proven in the playoffs..reichel and hoglund have the sameproblem but they are not the best players...

I'd like to say as well, that i don't think the LEAFS will make the stanley cup again this year due to their "suspect" defense....

but hell, the LEAF team went far last year with only 5 players on the roster...;)

so who knows what can happen.

furtehrmore, i also would like to see Reichel, Fitzgerald, Hoglund and Renberg gone from this team....

and if the Leafs don't make the final four this year...i would also like to see the MATS SUNDIN era end just like the Mike Craig experiment from the early nineties....

Let's get a few quality and grit players in exchange for mats....but PU-LEEZE, trade him to the western conference where he won't bite us in the ass.....

there's my wish list.

and by the way HORNS, sorry i couldn't get into greater depth as to why Ottawa will have problems in the first round....

lack of time, you know.:moon:
