Post Time Noon
Race 1 -- 1 1/16th miles, Purse $14,000, Claiming $10,000, 3-year-olds and up
Yodelen Dan -- Just got up last time while facing slightly tougher; Jeff Mullins now drops him in class again.
Niccolo Dream -- Sharp upset winner in last; moves up one rung, but appears capable of another good one.
Long Shot - Justinplace
Race 2 -- 6 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Scibelli -- Tepid chalk is an ugly pick in a bad race; sliding down the claiming ladder to this low level.
Ask George -- The less starts at this bottom level, the better; could improve in career start number 3.
Long Shot -- Downtown Banker
Race 3 -- 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $46,000, Maiden special weights, 3-year-olds and up
Raise the River -- Been second best 6-of-8 starts; either he?s unlucky or prone to seconditis, runs fast figures.
The Usual Q.T. -- Been away 8-months, but showed promise last fall; Unusual Heat tend to improve switching to turf.
Long Shot -- Discontent
Race 4 -- 61/2 furlongs, Purse $48,000, Optional claiming $25,000, Cal-breds, 3-year-olds and up
Warren?s Pepe -- Big rider switch to Rafael Bejarano for the money shot; tactical speed to sit a perfect trip.
Russian Liquor -- Rebounded with a nice try after an awful Grey Memo race two back; will be closing late.
Long Shot -- Capt. Pike
Race 5 -- 6 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Claiming $12,500, 3-year-olds
Defense King -- Would be easy to dismiss off a poor last race; key for me is Rafael Bejarano returns to ride.
Tavern -- Sliding down the claiming ladder like many of these; will find his best stride late under Alex Solis.
Long Shot -- Defying Logic
Race 6 -- 1 mile (turf), $70,000 Redondo Beach, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Gorgeous Goose -- There is so much early pace in here, the closers must be flattered; perfect trip in last.
Dawn After Dawn -- Just missed in last at Churchill facing a tougher field than this; saves all the ground for Rosario.
Long Shot -- Miss Singhsix
Race 7 -- 6 furlongs (turf), Purse $30,000, Claiming $32,000, Fillies and mares, 3-year-olds and up
Dine At Nine -- The speed of the speed turns back in distance; it could allow her to be more stout in the late stages.
That?s Hot -- Slides down the claiming ladder to this very winnable spot; square price with Danny Sorenson up.
Long Shot -- No Ka Oi
Race 8 -- 71/2 furlongs, $100,000 Ack Ack Handicap, 3-year-olds and up
Liberian Freighter -- Chance to repeat as he may have found his niche in 1-turn races; tactical speed to sit a trip.
Noble Court -- Dislike the rail post in an elongated sprint; he is a hard trier who is best in 1-turn sprints.
Long Shot -- Star Nicholas
Race 9 -- 11/4 miles (turf), $300,000 Charles Whittingham Memorial Handicap, 3-year-olds and up
Midships -- Pace edge to the likely lone speed leader; has gotten brave on the lead and held on gamely twice.
Madeo -- Dead late closer cannot count on anyone else for help; Mike Smith may need to move a furlong sooner.
Long Shot -- Artiste Royal
Race 10 -- 6 furlongs, Purse $15,000, Maiden claiming $25,000, 3-year-olds and up
Atlantic Victory -- His race 2-back, if repeated, puts him right there; Ron McAnally adds blinkers on for speed.
Dirt Diver -- Miserable try in last, now Paul Aguirre takes the blinkers off; his debut race could be fast enough.
Long Shot -- Bradytomoss
