NOTICE! Already a Hot Side In NFL Win Future Betting

The lines are up, and the sports books' chicken feathers are on proud display.

Although sports books like betonsports.com are offering 40-to-60 cent lines on 14 of 32 teams for NFL Regular Season Over/Under Win Totals, the Win Futures betting has begun.

Do you like perhaps like the aging Packers to go UNDER 10 wins? You'll have to pay a price for that one. How about another group of veterans, the Raiders, off three straight strong seasons, to bounce badly and go UNDER 9.5? At even money, they aren't doing you any favors, but then that's not their job.

If you are a brave soul, you can actually take a price (+115) if you like the Jaguars, with a new head coach, to go at least .500 this year. And if you think that Steelers' QB Tommy Maddox sold his soul to the devil in return for one spectacular season last year, you can take +120 on Pittsburgh to slip from a year ago and win less than 10 games.

The most interesting number on the current board is Seattle, -160 to go OVER 7.5 wins. It makes a lot of sense for a bettor to put a bullet next to the Seahawks on the charts, since the new addition to the NFC West won seven games in 2002 despite injuries at QB, wide receiver, offensive line, defensive line, you name it. This year, their division-rival 49ers have lost their good head coach Mariucci, the Rams must prove that they can still counter opponents' defenses, and the Cardinals are, well, the Cardinals. The Seattle price has opened high for a reason. They don't give anything away out there. But football futures are no different than life in general. You like something? You invariably are forced pay extra for it. If it works out, the price was worth it.

I took the Fins over 9.5 at -150, Fins +140 to win division, rams to win division +135 (bad vibe from 49ers right now), oklahoma even money to win big 12 (big bet here) and of course from 2 months ago braves 7:1 to win the series (just get there dammit so i can hedge). like seahawks this yr too but i feel more comfort in rams +600 is nice tho. why is san fran favored to win the division?

i hate the dolphins but this years team just seems better than all the overhyped predecessors, and i like the fact that if fielder gets hurt they dont miss much. i have em going 11-5.

u like any of these i should add more too?
