Any 'jackers ever book a room on Ocean Blvd through Hotwire??

If so, what was the star rating and how much was it.

Took a great RELAXING vacation there in Nov 2007 at the Hilton Grand Vacations and it's 239/night through a website but there are 3.5 star suites on Ocean Blvd for 145/night on Hotwire...

I definately want to stay on Ocean Blvd as it is a 2 minute walk to the beach (topless--:00hour ), and preferably above 1000 Ocean Blvd so the restaurants on Collins Ave are just a few blocks away...

4 star. $150.00. nice hotel. hotel victor. older and a little artzy for me, but the staff was outstanding.

beach less than 5 min. 10 min from stepping in the ocean. straight out the front door. very little walking to eats,drinks, club or two - great location to me.

attractive pool as well.

i've stayed at nicer hotels, but this was good enough for me. close to everthing and great staff.

Marine, I see you posted ratings for all the hotels but at Hotwire you pay before you know which one you will get. I will just have to go for the amenties I want (bar in hotel, pool, Ocean Drive, and a suite/kitchenette) and hope I get lucky.

with the list i posted for you, look at the ammenities and star rating. you can compare it to what shows up for you prior to purchasing.

This way, you can pick a specific hotel if you want it.
Eliminates the randomness and you know what hotel you are getting.

check out this site called biddingfortravel.com

Basically amessage board of people all around bidding for hotels, etc on hotwire.

Just click on the state and city and it will give you details about the hotels, the ratings, what people bid and reviews of the different hotels.

It has been VERY helpful to me in getting quality hotels at decent prices
