hou +193 pinnacle

dont see much to choose from; mavs Home serve but dikembe giving Rockets huge boost when i watch, no let up in gut... last year HOU played lakers tuff in every loss, Mavs 1-4 vs kings .... i love avery, thats my middle name :mj14:, but first time in playoffs vs raccoon eyes might be achilles

with this series even IMHO, getting 2/1 aint a bad bet

Gregg..........my thinking is that although the 2-1 looks promising, I think the Mavs just have so much more depth than the rockets. I cant see Dallas losing this series......You know they are going to be double teaming TMac when he gets off the buss and I just dont trust guys like Sura,Padgett, Wesley etc..........Just my thoughts.....

I can see Dallas losing becasue say what you want it's the same old Dallas. McGrady could win the series by himself. They split the series this year 2-2 and neither side could stop McGrady or Dirk. They tried double teaming McGrady in one of the games and Dallas got beat. Do I think Dallas wins - yes. But the value is certainly on the Rockets.

Plus the Rockets are discussing going small and having McGrady at the 4. Do that and Dirk has to guard him or they go full zone, which would seriously hurt Dallas.

thanx for the thoughts, mav and sun :) ... sure i could see dallas winning, maybe even in 5 or 6, just think it will get sticky and this is closer to pick'em then 2/1

ive never liked racoon eyes, when he was a lackey ass. coach in NY, he sat down next to me on press row to scout an X-game at Kingdome ... it was the glove's debut here vs MJ ... anyhow, racoon peepers was rude and big timed me in smalltalk(which amused me to be honest)--Just always thought, somebody that goony looking at 30 should be nice :scared

Remember when Van Gundy tried to jump in the middle of the Heat and the Knicks fight years ago.........they could have swatted him away like a fly..........HA

Gregg...........How did Avery Johnson get the head coaching job so soon. Would think there were tons of more qualified candidates for Cuban to choose from???

i always thought avery would be a good coach, he worked hard, was serious, played for various succcessful coaches, gave full effort, and was a smart and unselfish PG ... He also has a good heart but can be tuff when needed -- Im really happy for him ... I stood right next to him once in elevator and we saw eye to eye hehe ... not many of them in nba, seemed to be 5'9 like me :)

yeah i recall the racoon's yipper dog tactic ankle biting in a pile ;)
