with around 1:30 seconds denver punted the ball to houston and they made a fair catch at their 13. denver had 2 time outs and if houston had ran the ball 3 times (maybe broke one for a first down) and made denver use the two time outs they had you could have made the clock read around 35 seconds left when denver got the ball, if houston could not have made a first down, instead mills passed the ball all 3 downs and completed one for 4 yards. it was not like mills was a pro bowl QB, he averages 4.4 yards a pass for today. For some reason some of thes coaches do not think they can fail. on Denver's winning drive which started on their 27 (great kick and special teams) the had 2 timeouts left and 1:30 left instead of 35 seconds in game. They did not throw a pass had 5 runs that totaled 48 yards and made a easy field goal for the win.

i'm convinced that head coaches know less about football than anyone else on the planet.

seriously. it's like they've never watched a football game. that play calling would be inexcusable even with Stroud in the game. "uh, well, the defense was geared up to stop the run. so we figured we'd trick 'em."

just looked it up. they took 14 seconds off the clock and didn't force denver to use a single TO. the receiver went out of bounds on their only completion.

ah, here's the problem. their OC was previously the passing game coordinator for the rams. he may not know how to call a run play.

just kidding. that's on the HC to tell the OC "we're running the ball 3 straight times."

fucking idiots. no clue why anybody would pay them millions of dollars.
