The Houston Chronicle reports Texans QB David Carr underwent an MRI on Saturday, which confirmed the original diagnosis of a bruised right knee. Carr, who was injured during the second quarter of Friday's 17-13 preseason loss to Tampa Bay, is expected to practice Monday. He will start the regular-season opener Sept. 8 against Dallas. Carr reported no swelling and only soreness in the knee Saturday.
