University of Houston wide receivers Ellis Jefferson and Derek McLemore have been ruled out for Thursday's game against No. 25 Memphis, coach Major Applewhite said on his weekly radio show.
Jefferson aggravated the knee he injured in the season opener against Arizona. McLemore is in the mandated concussion protocol.
