The pick six scam begs the question how many times has this

occured before? You just know this is not the first time. The

computer hacker and the inside job guy would have gotten away

with this had Volponi not screwed up the whole scam. Thats

funny, because they are probably the first people to ever have

a 43-1 shot on a ticket and cheer against it. Had a 5-1 or even a

10-1 come in both these guys would have collected at least

$200,000 and nobody would have cared. This scam job has been

done before and maybe not just on pick-6's. I love playing the

Pick-6 and people like these guys have taken my money out of

pool by fraud, that makes me

Exactly. Nobody knows but supposedly there's two Pick 6s from the Saratoga meet this summer that are under investigation.

As a Chicago bettor, I've sworn for years many of the races here you'll see a horse load into the gate at 5-1, as the race starts you see he's 4-1, then he ends up paying $8.00. I realize there is a lag time for all the offtrack and simulcast money but this kind of thing happens so often many of us are suspicious. If someone wasn't too terribly greedy, you wonder if they could get away with skimming a thousand or so whenever they want. But in this guy's case, he (along w/the software programmer) apparently wanted the whole pie.
