Miami -13

BigBet has a total on the game already, which is 52

They are putting up lines as I type this.

I know Ohio State is not Virginai Tech, but I really believe (barring any significant injuries from now til then---and barring any inclement weather for 1/3 night's game as Dorsey has problems in the rain) that Miami may get that over possibly by themselves....Too balanced an attack for any NCAA team to defend...

Good Luck

Anything over 7 is ridiculous. This definitely will not be a blowout like last year. Miami isn't nearly as good as last year, and Ohio State's defense is about 100 times better than the 2001 Huskers and a healthy Clarett will run wild. Knowing how the public loves the Hurricanes, I'll just wait until near gametime to bet.

Already took Canes -12.5. I know public will drive line up, maybe take buckeyes at gametime and catch a nice middle. A nice 14 pt win by canes would be perfect, assuming line goes to 14.5 or higher.GL;)

13 sounds about right to me, although i expect miami to win by 20 plus. there will be no relaxing with a 14 point lead in this game.

Valuist.........you are the only person in this thread beside myself to show any sign of intelligence. This game will go down as Vegas' greatest moment as 85% of the country will lose this game with their beloved Miami Hurricanes. Take all your stats and all your trash-talking garbage about how Miami is the second coming of Jesus and his Apostles and flush it down the crapper along with all the jack you will lose on Jan 3. I could give a shit who wins the game but I do know this:

They aren't building any casinos in Las Vegas named after any of you idiots who want to mortgage everything you have to bet on Miami -13. :nono:

Mark it down. Because I cannot wait on Jan 4 to hear everyone say that "Miami didn't bring their A-game" or "I can't believe we got backdoored." Whatever the excuse, just remember I told you so. I am not going to name names but, look at some of the people on this board who couldn't pick their nose if you spotted them the finger and the nostril telling all that Miami is a lock and that Ohio State will get crushed. At least you have THAT on your side.

Good luck with Miami........but it isn't going to help.

last years huskers team was a joke.....just like this years huskers team.....their defense sucked just like this year and so does Solich.....

Ohio State should keep this close and possibly win......they are better than Va. Tech....play the same way but are better on defense and Clarrett is better than Suggs and jones......

coudl be a repeat of OU putting the hurt on FSU......and OU had a quarterback wiht a bum arm that year too......and FSU was not nearly as exposed during the year as Miami has been this year.....Miami lost a lot last year during draft.....they aren't as good as last year....haven't impressed other than Tennessee but fat Phils team wasn;t that good this year.....and Florida sucked too....FSU was only good win.....and even that was questionable.....

13 Las Vegas Death Line

13 Las Vegas Death Line

Lines like 6 1/2 and 13 just give me the shivers when it comes to favorites.
Ohio state will be some 41 days in between their last game and The Fiesta Bowl.
Miami will be 27 days in between.

13 seems to be the line that will suck in the Miami bets.
Ohio State + 13 may be the play ! ?

The longer the layoff for Ohio State, the healthier Clarett will be. I think teams that rely heavily on the pass are hurt more by the layoff. A smashmouth team like Ohio State should have its batteries fully-charged by gametime.

Same page as Dr. Freeze. This completely reminds me of the OU/FSU game.

So, I like OSU with the points here. Like 'em SU a little. No way should they be a 13 pt. dog. I thought it would by about 10.5.

OSU will run like mad on them. Clarett's tough. If he isn't on a stretcher (which he might be) he goes crazy on Miami.

Interesting matchup. OSU has certainly had many more scares this year.

Funny post coming from a guy with a handle of "Go Bucks"....but no you have no interest in this game whatsoever right? hahahaha....you need to relax a little bit buddy. This is a gambling forum not a fan forum. You need to go find a buckeye forum or something. Just like every other game we are giving our opinions about which side of the line is the winning one. I cant speak for anyone else but this will be a one unit play on Miami for me just like all my other plays. I've seen plenty of games this season from both teams and Miami is simply better and faster on both sides of the ball than any team in the nation. Ohio st can keep this game close, but imo it will take some early turnovers and a quick lead for them to have a chance. I'm willing to bet that wont happen. BTW, if every one is on miami, why is line dropping? It now currently sits at 12.5 at pinnacle as i write this.

Well, first off, Mr. Know It All, my screen name is such because I am from Milwaukee and am loyal to my NBA team. Since you now only have one foot in your mouth, let me expound so you can insert the other one. I feel your mouth is big enough for both of your feet. Being faster than any team in the nation doesn't mean shit when it comes to covering the spread.......since we are speaking from a betting perspective because this is a gambling forum....Miami was 4-7 ATS this year......whoa!!!!!!! Guess all that speed and superiority over their opponents didn't pan out too well at the betting window, did it? And, again, since this is a gambling forum, Ohio State, though only 7-6 ATS this season was 7-2 ATS on grass.........which I believe is what the National Championship will be played on. There, no "homer" opinions. Just facts about winning money.....since this is a gambling forum.

boy, you're a nice guy arent ya? why are you taking it so personally that someone could possibly fathom betting against ohio st? in your two posts you've done nothing but insult and attack anyone that would dare to bet on miami in this game. if your not a buckeye fan, whats the deal? why are you so angry?

Hoya, nothing is personal. It's all business. Point is that everyone and their mother has already given the game and the ATS cover to Miami, Fla. Knowing you have 80% of the betting public on your side should make you sleep better at night.....I know I will.
