Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the tax savings back to the American workers who are having to skimp and sacrifice to pay the
taxes.

What a disgrace ... no wonder the world has little respect for us.

Think of all of the good we could do with these bucks right here, at home!

That email has been going around for years. I'd like to see some context. Like how often other countries vote against us compared to aid given per capita and an explanation on why the two should necessarily be proportional.

Or maybe list 'all the good that could be done' with the money wasted in Iraq.

Also, why would getting out of the UN (which i'm not against doing) mean that we then would give 0 aid to other countries from that point on.

I guess I didn't realize that Egypt, Jordan, India and Pakistan hate us. Jeez.

But let their family have money and see how fast they get to the US to go to school and live here.

Most hate us but take the money because there either smarter then us or clever. It's the old everyone hates a winner. But if you learn to win with out waving your finger. They may learn to love you. Our government has been foolish with our money for many years.
