How the 5 Major Conferences fared in Week 1

ACC. 7-7 (assuming the Irish beat Louisville)

Big 10. 12-2

Big 12. 10-0

Pac 12. 8-4

SEC. 9-5

The Big 12 played a total of one game against a power 5 conference team and that was Oregon State. Next week gets a bit tougher. They play two games against SEC opponents. LSU and Missouri.

ACC lost to some good teams out of conference. Notre Dame [most likely], Bama, Florida and Boise State to go w 3 in-conference losses.

I agree, but the Florida State loss was a total and complete disaster. How anyone can think that Willie Taggart is a well qualified Power 5 Head Coach is beyond me. He failed at Oregon, took off, and is failing at Florida State. He reminds me a lot of Charlie Strong, who was suppose to be a super HC and was run out of Texas. Some coaches just belong in the Group of 5 or coaching FCS teams.
