Thoughts???

Personally, I think he should be DQ from the rest of the season. (On the fence about criminal charges, as so much goes on during the game, eye gouging, punching, etc. that is never seen. But this was blatant, and clearly done to injure.) Maybe I just talked myself into saying that I am ok with him being charged!

At first, before watching the video, I thought maybe he headbutted him with his helmet off, but not during the game. So I thought for sure charges should be filed. But after watching the video I don't think there should be any charges. Both had their helmets on and I don't think there was any damage done to the victim. Don't get me wrong there should be severe consequences, like the punk should get kicked off the team for the year. Other than than that don't get the police involved.

THe player getting headbutted has his helmet fall off, you see the LB notice that, and then see him lunge forward with the headbutt... so now you have a helmeted player on top of player that lost his helmet, and then intentionally get headbutted. You can see it on the video, I watched 3 times, missed the first time, and couldn;t believe it the other two!

YOu and I are watching 2 different videos. THe LB ripped the QBs helmet off, then head-butted the kid. Borderline criminal imo.

Did he...? I didn't see that. If that's the case then yes criminal charges should be filed. I thought it was helmet on helmet
