Cristobal Huet returns to the net for the Blackhawks on Tuesday night when they take on the Senators at Scotiabank Place.

Huet was in goal as the Hawks kicked off their eight-game road trip with a 6-5 victory over the Blue Jackets on Saturday and then watched as Antti Niemi put in a brilliant performance during the Hawks' 4-3 shootout victory Sunday against the Red Wings.

Huet is 5-6-0-1 in his career against the Senators and recorded his first shutout in a Hawks sweater with a 2-0 blanking Dec. 10, 2008. The veteran will be opposed by Brian Elliott, who is making his first career start against the Hawks.

Both teams are riding three-game winning streaks. Ottawa has been bolstered by the return of winger Daniel Alfredsson, who has four goals and two assists in two games since missing 11 contests because of a separated shoulder.

Marian Hossa returns to Ottawa, where he spent six-plus seasons (1997-2004) with the Senators before being traded along with Greg de Vries to Atlanta in exchange for Dany Heatley.

The Hawks have won the last three meetings against Ottawa dating to March 4, 2007, and five of the last six.
