I know this will have all of you in stitches :mj07:

But...Scroll Down...

Ever since I can remember losing a Total Play years ago when the Cowboys and Dolphins hooked up on Monday Night (with a FULL MOON out) in which the game was a low scoring affair like 10-3 or something going into the 4th quarter and both teams scored at will to push the Total Over i have noticed but not tracked this..but...it seems whenever there is a FULL MOON out on a Monday Night the Total goes OVER!...i seriously doubt if there is a sight that tracks this. :mj07: but...I'm serious it happened about every time that I can remember over the last few years at least...anyway...I know you guys probably got a good laugh :mj07: out of this but...we will see if tonights game goes OVER again.

are you betting the over?

I'm thinking about putting a little coin on it...although I already have a nice 6 point middle possibility of the Eagles -2.5 and the Cowboys +8.5 (to complete a teaser)....I know if I were playing another teaser though I'd go over in that.

The problem is that the moon will not be full until tomorrow!

Does it count if the game goes into tomorrow as in past 12:00 midnight??

Nobody won or lost on this total. Funny how it stayed on 41 all week.
But we all know it was meant to go under had it not been for Mr McNabe trying to show off his passing skills with less than 3 minutes left when he should have been handing off.
WHY WHY would a guy do what he did and take a risk that would cost them the game?

My sympathy to all that had the Eagles.
The money should have been yours.

I don't know what offshore or local you use but I had it at 40.5 on Monday with my offshore and the local...as for the Eagles...yes that game was theirs until the final 3 plus minutes.

um...because that's what the offensive coordinator called?

the blame IMO rides almost completely on the coaching staff for calling this play. you are correct maggio....Philly should be RUNNING in this situation. Force Dallas to use the timeouts and running the clock down. It was 2nd and 7, not 3rd and 14.

the pass route called for a timing pattern with a rookie WR and a seasoned QB. the route was run near the sideline which meant in all likelihood the WR would have been pushed OOB and stopped the clock even if it had been completed.

From what i read, McNabb misread the defense and threw short, while the WR ran long as he should have. So there does seem to be some fault on DM's part...but that play should have NEVER EVER been called.

that's the problem with the pass-happy PHilly offense. it has gotten them to, what, 4 NFC championships in a row...a super bowl last year.....but if you are unwilling to run, it can come back to bite you in the a$$ IMO.
