Im going to say No, I think what happened is Briles just left him to throw the quick sideline pattern figuring ULM would be playing off and he didnt have to spike it and not get the extra yardage. Your backup QB better be able to throw a 7 yard out.

Im not sure why Baylor is running 3 down linemen. Seems to me the only thing hurting Baylor is the short controlled passing game and running the ball. I would load the damn box and dare the QB to throw the ball downfield.
